Why sand making machine cannot discharge materials?
1.Material related reasons (most common causes)
First, excessive material moisture. Excess water content in raw stones, river sand and weathered materials makes particles stick together and form lumps. They stick to the inner wall of the feeding inlet and cannot slide smoothly into the crushing chamber.
Second, oversized material size. When raw stones are bigger than the maximum allowed feeding size, large stones get stuck in the hopper and feeding passage and block material flow.
Third, excessive mud and impurities. Mixed soil and dust pile up and block the channel. Fine powder also causes material bridging, making materials hang in midair and fail to fall down.
2.Structural and installation faults
Unreasonable hopper design or severely worn uneven inner walls increase flow resistance and cause material retention.
Insufficient installation tilt angle fails to meet the natural sliding gradient, so materials cannot feed down by gravity.
Loose or misplaced inner liners and impact plates narrow the feeding space and block material passage.
Misplaced protective nets and dust baffles at the inlet also block the feeding channel.

3.Transmission and power system failures
Faulty vibrating feeders are the main cause. Broken springs, damaged eccentric wheels and single-phase motor trip will stop feeding directly.
Belt conveyor deviation, slipping and loose belts cut off raw material delivery to the sand maker inlet.
Abnormally low main shaft speed fails to generate enough suction force. Unbalanced internal air pressure causes material backflow, stopping outside materials from entering.
4.Improper on-site operation and working conditions
Overfeeding at one time fills up the feeding inlet and causes clogging.
Unmatched production capacity of connected equipment leads to excessive incoming materials that the sand maker cannot process in time.
Long-term operation without regular cleaning leaves leftover stones and waste inside the machine, occupying feeding space and blocking new materials.
5.Bad working environment and worn parts
Materials freeze and harden in cold weather, resulting in poor fluidity and frozen feeding blockage.
Heavily worn or fallen guide plates and wear plates lose material guiding effect.
Worn bearings, impellers and core parts cause unstable machine vibration and disrupt normal feeding process.
Strictly control material moisture and feeding particle size. Regularly clean feeding passages and internal residues. Inspect feeding and transmission parts, adjust installation angle and control feeding speed properly.
Once feeding failure occurs, stop the machine and cut off power for inspection. Clear blockages first, then check materials, machine structure and power system one by one. Timely troubleshooting can resume production quickly and prevent serious damage like burned motors and broken rotors, ensuring stable and efficient operation of the whole sand production line.
