Why is the output of cone crusher low?

There are many reasons why cone crushers have low output. These include the hardness, moisture content and fineness of raw materials, as well as poor equipment quality itself.

Since the hardness and toughness of materials are fixed, you must feed materials strictly in accordance with the equipment manual during operation. Excessively wet materials easily stick to machine parts and cause blockages during conveying, which lowers working efficiency. If materials are too damp, dry them first before crushing. Higher requirements for finished material fineness will also reduce the crusher’s processing capacity and slow down production. All mechanical faults need to be checked and fixed one by one.

Wrong wiring of the crusher motor will affect its normal operation. Too small discharge opening will lead to low output and material jams, so you need to widen it properly. Displaced lining plates will also disrupt machine operation and reduce efficiency, so keep them in correct position.

After long-term use, wear of lining plates and bearings will increase internal gaps and cause bearing outer ring slipping, resulting in lower production. Regularly check wear conditions and replace worn parts in time.
